Rectangular floor buffers are very easy to handle, easy enough for almost anyone, even with just 1 hand. These machines do not spin but instead, vibrate at a very high rate. This allows the operator to simply push the machine without using precise control. This also translates to less fatigue over extended periods of usage. Equipped with a 1.5 HP electric motor, this machine can easily scrub, strip, buff, sand, and bonnet floors in ways never seen by a radial floor buffer machine. Weighing in at a hefty 136 lbs, less effort is required when working on any area of the floor, especially when it comes to stripping and sanding floors. NOTE: This machine is classified as a low speed floor buffer, and is not designed for high speed burnishing.
With the ability to attach a backpack vacuum cleaner, this floor buffer is ahead of the competition. This means vacuum and sand/strip all on one pass, instead of vacuuming the floor a second time after stripping/sanding. Who wants to do all that extra work over again?
Rectangular shape offers equal pressure across the pad, unlike round pads. The square corner allows the machine to clean into corners and against baseboards better than round pads.
